Functional Eating Guidelines
What are the foods I need to avoid when on a fiber rich eating plan? Ideally, you should have 2-3 plant-based meals (mostly raw) per day, but here is a list of a few foods and food categories to avoid.
- Food intolerances
- Dairy, all forms, all animals
- Sugar, cane derived
- Grains, refined grain flour
- Potato, white/yellow
- Gluten containing grains, refined or whole
- Energy drinks
- Soda
- Coffee
- Alcohol
- Juice (excludes homeade)
- Corn, GMO, non-organic
- Soy, GMO, non-organic
- Meat that is fatty, non-organic, non free-range
