What is Thermography?

Thermography utilizes the capabilities of specialized cameras that are highly sensitive to the detection of electromagnetic energy (light) in infrared wavelengths (heat). When the camera’s detectors sense the incoming IR heat an electrical signal is produced that generates a visible image display. It is used for the thermal analysis of patients with a variety of issues in acute, chronic, and preventative breast healthcare.

Thermography is not radiation, non-invasive, has no physical contact, is completely safe, and pain-free.
